Continuing the company’s leadership in performance cold-air intake systems for Camaros and GM trucks, Cold Air Inductions is proud to announce the first system available for the 2016 Chevrolet Camaro with the LT1 V-8. The system was designed to work with the factory tuning to provide 27 lb-ft of torque and 11 horsepower – and those are gains at the rear wheels! And the throaty air-intake sound that the system provides matches the performance exhaust tone of the Camaro6.
In addition to more airflow through the unique Cold Air Inductions reusable air filter and air tube, the system features heat barriers to reduce heat transfer from underhood to the engine inlet air. This keeps the temperature of the air entering the engine lower for a denser charge and more power. The thermal-coated air tube is made from aluminum. All TIG welding on the intake system is done by hand. The insulated air box features an inspection window that makes it easy to check the condition of the lifetime air filter. The removable air-box lid is held in place with stainless steel, spring-loaded ¼-turn fasteners, making lid removal quick and easy. The air box and air tube are powder-coated in-house to provide either a textured black or near-chrome finish. The Cold Air Inductions systems do not void the vehicle warranty, and provide an improvement in rear-wheel power as well as fuel economy. They are proudly made in the USA.
Cold Air Inductions has engineered and manufactured performance cold-air intake systems for more than 10 years, and prides itself on building the best quality systems. The company’s cold-air intakes have the advantage of increased airflow with cooler air-inlet temperatures and the best gains in real-world performance without any additional vehicle modifications.
The 2016 Camaro Cold Air Induction kits start at $395.15.
