I'm really starting to like the Tesla. It's clearly an engineering marvel. I'm wondering about its real performance though. They say it goes 0-60 in 3.9 seconds, but I assume that's right when you drive it from a full charge. Like batteries in a flashlight, I imagine that after driving the Tesla for 2 hours, the car goes 0-60 in about 8 seconds. Am I right, or does the car have some kind of capacitor to ensure full power until the battery is dead? I'm curious.
