We pioneered the adaptation of late model manumatic technology for old hot rods and muscle cars. The system includes an electronic automatic transmission such as the the Bowler 4L60E with engine braking, an electronic transmission controller such as Compushift, a heavy duty billet lock up torque converter, and electronic paddle shifters.
The purpose of this video is to let you listen to the engine note. You can hear that this automatic has engine braking and that the transmission responds to inputs from the steering column mounted paddle shifters.
It's designed for adaptation on older, pre-airbag american vehicles such as hot rods and muscle cars.
Thanks for looking.
Cool video. I read the blog below featuring the Twist Machine paddles, but I always wondered if an automatic transmission was ever meant to be shifted constantly, like an manual.
