The legendary Ford RS performance car brand is back and faster than ever. The stunning new 2009 Focus RS will be previewed at the Paris Motor Show in October, while development work has confirmed it as the fastest ever European Ford production car.
Ford is confirming the Focus RS is powered by a turbocharged Duratec 2.5L five-cylinder producing about 300 horsepower and 325 ft-lbs of torque and can reach 60 MPH in less than six seconds with a top speed of 162 mph.
The vibrant 'Ultimate Green' paint color will be debuted at the show and is confirmed for production. Focus RS will also be available in Ford Performance Blue and Frozen White, each with the choice of blue or green colour matched interior. A full black leather option will be available for all three exterior colors.
The Ford Focus RS will be available in Europe early 2009.
