Description

Found this crazy short that pays tribute to the classic car chase movie Vanishing Point (1971). The tribute is goofy because it uses stop motion with toy cars. Kinda funny. Anyway, Vanishing Point, if you haven't seen it, tells the story of a guy named Kowalski who works for a car delivery service and has to take a 1970 Dodge Challenger from Colorado to San Francisco. He makes a bet that he can make it in 15 hours. So you can imagine the fun car chases. So while this clip is not of the actual movie, I think it's kind of funny. And everyone should go rent the real Vanishing Point movie. Cuz it's badass.

Vanishing point with a Chevelle-Camino? While the car is not correct the violent juxtaposing of images is brilliant. The subtext is lacking but it holds up time. Thumbs up.
