A few days before the official announcement of the 2011 GT500, Ford released this teaser video. The GT500 featured here is equipped with the available SVT Performance Package, which features thinner Shelby stripes, 3.73 rear gear and new wheels (19x9.5" front and 20x10" rear). The GT500 now has an aluminum engine block for 2011 and power is bumped up about 10 hp to 550. The GT500 in this teaser also has a glass roof, which is now optional on the car.
