You can install aftermarket seats in your Mustang, but this WILL effect the airbags. The front passenger seat has an airbag sensor in it that turns off the airbag if there is little to no weight in the seat. If you unplug this sensor, the airbag will always be off and the airbag light will be always on in your dash. Also, replacing the seats will obviously remove the side airbags if your Mustang is so equipped. The side airbags are in the seat, not the body of the car. Basically, putting in Corbeau seats could eliminate 3 of your Mustang's 4 airbags and trigger a light. Some places, like Galpin Auto Sports, will sell you the seats but not install them since disconnecting the airbags is illegal.
