Is anyone using the JME or Sean Hyland Mustang suspension?
Does anyone know how much he JME Pro Series suspension costs? I see the Sean Hyland kit is $7500. I want the best performance I can get, but do these old mustang really need a $7500 front suspension kit?

There are a few versions of the JME suspension, but they start at about $6500 for the base front suspension kit. Add about $250 for a power rack and pinion steering and roughly $1500 for the Koni shocks, although there are several different shock options available. JME makes some great stuff and seems to spend the time engineering their pieces to perform. I would say the JME suspension is more at home on the track. They are also working on a 3-Link rear suspension and possibly a complete IRS.

I have not used this stuff, but it looks interesting. Expensive though. Anyway, I've attached some more info I came across.

The upright shock layout is designed to fit into your existing shock towers.

This lay down shock location is more for racing and allows you to adjust the shock from in the engine compartment.

The unit pictured in pics sent by Goose that is hard anodized is actually the first custom unit for the 1965-66 Mustang to be used without shock towers. The guys at JME really know there stuff and actually worked with me on designing the best possible solution for my 65 Mustang Fastback. My unit was displayed at SEMA 2008 and I should receive it in the next few weeks. JME also worked with me to design the rear shocks to complement the front by calculating corner weight, total weight, shock location, angles, etc...Penske is looking into working with JME to supply the shocks for our application. Check out my site at www.gt427.com for more info, but the system is being transfered to another server which might be down for a week or so. The front system without the shocks, which included the hard anodized and working with me to design the system for my car was around $10,000. But this is the first system to be used without shock towers, therefore required some engineering time.
