How fast does a pace car go after a caution?
Is there a standard max speed or does it vary by track or situation?

I'm pretty sure it depends on the track, the conditions of the course and how many cars are on the field. On average though, I think they keep the pace between 45 and 65 MPH.

I asked our R&D guy, who is a NASCAR NUTT.......he said the same about track variances, but that they go 10mph faster than pit speed set for that track.
