Why are two superchargers better than one?
I noticed the video posted here with guys from PSE Superchargers. They built a Ford F-150 Lightning with twin blowers. Why is that better than a single blower?

It's simple math -

V12 better then V10 which is better then a V8 and so on.
A 4 Barrel is better then a 2 Barrel Carb
2 Turbos are (well not always) better then one, and finally

2 Superchargers are always better then one. Ask the other dual supercharger guy

Seriously I am going to guess that a single small supercharger will no be able to supply the amount of 'Boost' that the owner wanted, but the real reason is he wants to showcase his company's products. Might be able to have more boost due to a lot of blower displacement, but what are you going to do with it in a pick up?

Other guy are making past 700hp with a single Kenne Bell blower so I'll bet more of a showcase for the company.

Still sound really nice and seems to do well at burning rubber!

I wonder if using two superchargers will eat more horsepower and put more stress on the motor than a larger single supercharger.

I would guess so, just a gut feel. You have much more capacity but you have much more stuff to twist, more belt friction, more bearings, more surface area friction, etc. It is a cool thing as I said, but more show when all said and done. Does sound nice in any case!!
