I know there will be roughly a $25k price difference between these two cars, but which do you think will be the "king of the street?" Let's not forget that Nissan plans to also launch a lightweight version called the GT-R V-Spec.

Just wait for the cover of Road and Track, will be a good shoot out. The vette' has a lot of good stuff this year, styling ok, same for the GT-R. Tough call. I'll take an Audi R8 and write a credit card check for the balance over the cost of the others, or 2 credit card checks and get a Porsche GT3. On interesting think is the GT-R has a lot of the same hype that the last run of Supras had, lots of noise, but quickly forgotten except for the cult that loves them. But the price difference the GT-R is more bang for the buck and awd, and a great V6, nice engineering package, just not so keen on the style.

I really like both cars. If they were priced the same, I would have a hard time picking one over the other. On one hand, I love the feel of raw V8 power and rear-wheel-drive. On the other hand, I'm very interested in the technology and AWD of the GT-R. Needless to say, Chevy does not intend to let a Nissan beat them. Corvette Chief Engineer, Tadge Jeuchter, said that the ZR1, "will be able to take the production-car track record at any racetrack," and that they're expecting a lap time of "seven minutes, twenty-something seconds." I can't wait to see a good heads-up race on the road course and drag strip.

For my money, I'd take the ZR1. I think it will be worth the most down the line and it just looks like a $h!t load of fun to drive. Plus, its faster :)
