Why would my 350 not start? It's got fire and fuel and I just retimed it, but it still will not start.
The truck was running fine, went out to start it and it wouldn't start. Retimed it and made sure it had fire and fuel. I did foul out plugs before but truck still ran on them plugs it tryed to start then it didn't and then it would just crank without trying to start anymore.

If you are sure you're getting fuel and spark, the safe bet would probably be to start over from the beginning. Pull the distributor, set the motor to TDC, make sure the plugs and wires are connected in the right firing order and start from there.

If you share some more information about the motor and what's changed since it last ran, I'm sure we can come up with more things to try.
