High rev chevy monster in my toyota mud truck
I'm building a toyota mud truck that will be streetable. More than likely pushing 40inch or bigger mud tires, on 1 ton running gear.

I have 2 motors I'm looking to drop in, i am undecided on either.
One is a small journal 283ci Chevy, and the other is a small journal 327 marine block chevy. I'm wanting High rpm's, and keeping the yota light.

350's and up are out of the question, Everyone runs em, and i wanna be different. So any idea's?

Get a 400 block, drop in a 350 crank with spacers, comes out to 377, works great, odd, but way more torque then 327, good breathing due to large bore, etc. High rpm is not the way to go in a big tire truck, but what is high rpm to some is not to others. Had the 377" SBC in an old International Scout that replaced the aged diesel ;)
