Both intakes have the same 1.90" x 1.08" ports, however, the Edelbrock has a height of 5.50" and the Professional Products Hurricane is 5.39" tall. Professional Products claims the Hurricane intake makes a few more hp from the mid-range on up.

I wonder if the Professional Products intake is built to the same quality standard as the Victor Jr. I've always found Edelbrock to be an A+ manufacturer.

I have seen the Hurricane around but never seen anyone running them. The height might be a small plus for folks with very tight hood issues. Price also might be good vs. Edelbrock, but not sure. Are they made in USA, Australia...???

I have run Victor Jr's on the SBF as well as Victor's and had good results with them. The Victor Jr. does (like many SBF Single plane) suffer from different runner length (and volume) which does mess with fuel distribution so I'm told. But that is the way it is, likely can't go wrong and I'll bet it is a good price vs. the Edelbrock.
