What engine options will the new Camaro have?
With the EPA cracking down on "muscle cars," what does GM plan on doing for power in the new Camaro?

The exact engines have not been officially announced, but GM stated that they intend to offer both a V6 and V8. To meet new EPA milage regulations, GM's Bob Lutz recently suggested that the Camaro could also be available with a 4-cylinder engine, possibly the turbo-four from the Pontiac Solstice / Saturn Sky. The V6 and 4-cylinder should be around the 260 hp range with the V8 coming in at around 400+ hp.

The idea behind using the 4-cylinder would be to save weight and getting fuel economy.
