Aluminum Street Avenger Carbs from Holley

Holley Aluminum Street Avenger Carburetor

I admit it, I’m not good with carburetors. I grew up in the age of fuel injection and never could properly tune a carb. I'm happy to say, I'm not alone as Holley has announced their "ready-to-run" Street Avenger Carburetors.

Ok, the Holley Street Avenger is not that new, but Holley now offers the carbs in lightweight aluminum to reduce weight and add a little bling under your hood.

The original Street Avenger Carburetors were created out of a need for a simplistic design that would allow anyone with no past experience in carburetors to bolt it on, make two small tuning adjustments, and drive off. Now Holley offers a lightweight version of the original with all of the world famous No Trouble™ features and then some. The Aluminum Street Avenger Carburetors are available in a 670 and 770 CFM with or without an electric choke.

Part Number: 0-83670 670 cfm Electric Choke
Part Number: 0-85670 670 cfm Manual Choke
Part Number: 0-83770 770 cfm Electric Choke
Part Number: 0-85770 770 cfm Manual Choke

Holley Street Avenger Carburetor Features

On the Aluminum Street Avengers, Holley added a built-n clear sight window for easy initial float adjustment and fuel monitoring. The aluminum versions are tumble polished for great looks and a long lasting shine. And, because they’re made out of aluminum they can be hand polished. Looking for an easy way to shed some weight from your street machine? The Aluminum Street Avenger can do that too, saving approximately 5 lbs off the top of an engine versus their zinc counterparts.

Holley Aluminum Street Avenger Carburetors are 100% wet flow tested; include a fuel line kit and a comprehensive installation and tuning DVD. Because Holley is so confident in their line of Street Avenger Carburetors they give it a lifetime warranty on parts and a one (1) year warranty on labor with factory direct service.

Very nice looking carb. I think Holley had a bunch of quality issues with some of the older zinc carbs (might have been plating issues), but its good to see an aluminum carb that is not a race only one. And they are about as hard as bolting it on to get them working ;)
