Lingenfelter, one of the most respected names in GM performance tuning, is teaming up with legendary speed shop, Baldwin-Motion, to build a new line of SuperSeries, big block-powered Camaros.

For over 28 years, Lingenfelter has been synonymous with world-class performance, taking great cars and trucks and reinventing them with legendary precision. From 1967 to 1974, Baldwin-Motion offered SS (425-hp) and Phase III (500-hp and up) big-block Camaros, Novas, Chevelles, Corvettes and Biscayne Street Racer Specials. Cars were sold at Baldwin Chevrolet or Motion Performance, converted by Motion and financed and delivered by Baldwin. Phase III 427 and 454 cars came with a written, money back, quarter-mile performance guaranty.

The first Lingenfelter/Motion engine, and all-aluminum 540 dyno-proven at 660 hp and 640 lbs. ft of torque on 93 octane pump gas, will power a Baldwin-Motion Phase III Camaro being built for export.

Baldwin-Motion's flagship vehicle is the SuperSpeedster, a highly modified, 700+ hp, two seat Camaro. Some of the car's standout features include its sculptured steel Camaro body, tubular steel chassis, four wheel independent suspension, Dana 60 limited slip center section, Penske coil over shocks, power rack and pinion steering and giant six piston Baer/Motion disc brakes. Powering the SuperSpeedster is a 700 hp, 540 cubic inch, aluminum big block topped off with a Kinsler cross ram fuel injection.

A new Signature Series of naturally aspirated and "boosted" Lingenfelter/Motion Dyno Proven Big Block engines will power all Baldwin Motion specialty vehicles. The will also be available as turnkey power plants exclusively from Motion.

Baldwin Motion's SS-427 ($169,000), Phase III 540 ($189,000) and the coachbuilt SuperCoupe ($427,000) and SuperSpeedster ($495,000) Camaros are signed by Joel "Mr. Motion" Rosen and fully documented with paperwork and build photography. Each vehicle is built to order using a premium "donor" with an original Chevrolet VIN and can be registered and insured worldwide. Pricing of the crate motors isn't available yet.
