As the 2010 Ford Mustang begins to hit showrooms, enthusiasts are no doubt already planning mods for the car. Well, Classic Design Concepts, an innovative leader in the automotive restyling industry, and Ford Racing have released their new Shaker Hood System for the 2010 Mustang GT.

The 2010 Mustang GT Shaker Hood System is a fully functional unit that forces outside cold air into the factory air box adding about 7 rwhp. With some slight modifications, the Shaker Hood System can also be adapted to an aftermarket air box or cold air kit.



The system attaches directly to the engine and sports a well-designed engine cover with Ford Racing badges. Topping the system is a cast aluminum scoop that is identical to the original Shaker included on the famous 1969-1970 models. In fact, the new Shaker Hood scoop is the exact size and shape of the 1970 Boss 302 shaker hood scoop!



Classic Design Concepts has been working with Ford on making the Shaker Hood System both functional and easy to install. The Shaker Hood System kit includes all mounting hardware, ductwork, template and detailed instructions. Installation can be completed in three-hours or less with basic tools.
