YearOne has teamed up with Evernham Racing and former pro wrestler/TV host/car collector Bill Goldberg to create an updated legend—a NASCAR Superbird. “Goldberg said he wanted it to be as close to a real NASCAR as possible; for the street,” said YearOne project designer Phil Brewer. “It’s pretty much going to be an old-school NASCAR, in particular, how we’re going to handle the body.” Read More »

New Supercharger Kits for Dodge, Chrysler and Classic Mopar.

A suite of new supercharger kits has emerged for Dodge, Chrysler and classic Mopars. Vortech has introduced a high-output, charge cooled supercharging system for the 5.7L and 6.1L Hemi V8 Dodge and Chrysler vehicles. New for 2007, is the redesigned Jeep Wrangler. Now available in both 2-door and 4-door, the Jeep features a new 202 hp 3.8L V6, a modular roof system, Electronic Stability Program, Electronic Roll Mitigation, and ABS brakes. Of course, what makes a great vehicle to me is one that can be modified. And the new Jeep won the award for Most Accessory Friendly SUV at the 2006 SEMA Show. That thing got a HEMI?

If anything has made the Chrysler brand fun again, it's the 5.7L HEMI engine originally introduced in the 2003 Dodge Ram. Since then, this wonderful and popular engine has found it's way into several new models including the Magnum R/T,300C, Jeep Grand Cherokee and Durango.
